Had the pancake brought from the supermarket at C building for brunch 7RMB, taste not bad =) tried to did some studies but failed, and back to bed AGAIN!! na, I should rest more before the big show...Woke at 2pm, facial, took a kentucky mean... and started to the BJ Exhibitin Centre for my AIDA Musical... Took MTR to 西直門, got an icecream, and walked for around 20 min to get there...
Amazed when I got to the theatre front... The theatre itself looks like a motel and many people are selling yellow cows tickets at the doorfront... Besides, loads of hawkers well selling binoculars and concert lighter too!! Wierd... I did ask for the price of those binoculars, which the hawkers said it is 40RMB... the quality was so bad, so I left, then they keep asking if I am going to take it for 10RMB... Mad!! Left anyway...
Got inside and saw the souvenior counter of AIDA... Tee, CDs, Mugs, Photo Frame, Brochure... I was only interested in the brochure, but didn't take it, coz it possibly will be throw into a corner of my room if I do buy it... Anyway, a pic here is better than owning it myself...
My seat is on the 30th row, which I thought was at the upper circle... The theatre is a round shape one, quite like Star Hall in HK... I found my seat, which I think, was not really so BAD... I was quite early today, so I wandered around the theatre to take some photos... Erm... you know, before the show, everybody were gathering at the front taking photos of the orchestra's rehersal... quite funny, and quite China... besdies, the 2 screens are keep broadcasting the sponsor company's film clip... ergh...Yes, musical in BJ is real unique... There were MC on the stage saying how happy they were tobe here... ERGH!! At least 1/3 audiences are foriegers, and near all the people have tried to dress up for the event... Haaaa~~!
The is quite good. The real broadway show, professional performers.. nice songs composed by Elton John... and is quite enjoyable... The story itself is quite simple... Though there's not a memorable song as the musicals from webber lloyd, I do enjoy tonight's performance =)
